Love Love Love

I love my wife, my kiddo, our dog, and most of all...MY LIFE! I couldn't ask for anything more than what I already have. I get to spend time with those that love me, while doing the things that I love!!!

food for thought

I received this in my e-mail today and I love it. It is very touching. Please read and share with someone else.

This is God.
Today I will be handling All of your problems for you. I do Not need
your help. So, have a nice day.

I love you.

P.S. And,
remember... If life happens to deliver a situation to you that you cannot handle, do Not attempt to solve it yourself! Kindly put it in the SFGTD (something for God to do) box. I will get to it in MY TIME. All situations will be resolved, but in My time, not yours.
Once the matter placed into the box, do not hold onto it by worrying about it. Instead, focus on all the wonderful things that are present in your life now.

If you find yourself stuck in traffic, don't despair. There are people in this world for whom driving is an unheard of privilege.
Should you have a bad

day at work; think of the man who has been out of work for years.
Should you despair over
a relationship gone bad; think of the person who has never known what it's like to love and be loved in return.

Should you grieve the
passing of another weekend; think of the woman in dire straits, working twelve hours a day, seven days a week to feed her children.

Should your car
break down, leaving you miles away from assistance; think of the paraplegic who would love the opportunity to take that walk.

Should you notice a new
gray hair in the mirror; think of the cancer patient in chemo who wishes she had hair to examine.

Should you find
yourself at a loss and pondering what is life all about, asking what is my
purpose? Be thankful. There are those who didn't live long enough to get the opportunity.

Should you find
yourself the victim of other people's bitterness, ignorance, smallness or
insecurities; remember, things could be worse. You could be one of them!

Should you decide to
send this to a friend; Thank you. You may have touched their life in ways you will never know!

Now, you have a nice

LOONG vacation much has happened that I haven't had time to blog about.

We got here on Tuesday night. Wednesday we laid about the house and just chilled with Toby and Haylee. Lorelli had a blast playing with the new puppy and chasing the cats. She made enemies with Maddie the big cat and Miley is not sure what to do with her yet. Sassy, on the other hand, is happy to have someone her size to play with her. And they run almost as fast as each other.

Thursday, we went to the hospital to visit my high school friend, Lori Rodriguez because she was being induced to have her baby. Things went very well with her for the most part for her. We got there around midday and she had the baby at 2:12 pm July 17. He weighed 7lbs 10oz and was a big 19 inches long. Baby and Mommy are doing very well from what I have heard. He was a pretty little baby. It was nice being at the hospital and spending time with Lori's parents. I have not seen them since high school. Lori's mother has been going through chemotherapy and had her last treatment on Friday. That was very nice timing since her good days are Wednesdays and Thursdays. :-)

Friday was the day we were going to go to Benjamin's after picking up the rental car. The rental car was a debacle. Enterprise wanted to charge me, or put a hold on my card for, $250. I didn't want that because my whole card limit is $250. So, I went over to Avis and got my rental. By then it was after 3 and when I called Benjamin we decided it was too late to go visit. So, we came out to my mom's without calling or anything. We pulled up right as she was pulling into her driveway. She was very shocked to see us since she was not expecting us until Monday. Lorelli got to stay and play and swim and have fun for like 4 hours or so at her grandma's house before we had to head over to her auntie Dalia's house.

At her tia Dalia's house she decided that she was scared as we got to the door and covered her eyes. As soon as we walked in her cousin Aahilyn grabbed her and hugged her and was yelling "Lorelli Lorelli Lorelli." But shortly thereafter Lorelli decided she wasn't scared anymore and started playing and running around and having fun. When it was time for me to leave and her to stay the night I expected the normal upset little crazy baby, but NO not this time...this time she said, "Ok, I love you mommy. See you later. Call me back." It kinda hurt my feelings. Oh well...I guess it should be a good sign that she is growing up and remembering her family and people and now she is not so scared of everything.

More to come later about going out with my friends and the happenings of all that......
