Welcome to Not Me! Monday! This blog carnival was created by MckMama. You can head over to her blog to read what she and everyone else have not been doing this week.
I did not fail to pack anything last week for the move this weekend. I did not refuse to do this because all my stuff was still in storage and I didn't feel it necessary to pack up somebody else's stuff.
I have not stayed up way too late the last FIVE NIGHTS. I am a grown woman. I do not need a minimum of 7 hours of sleep a night. I do not normally go to bed around 10 pm. I was not on the phone until 1230 two nights this week. I was not up making Halloween cake balls for a lunch party two nights this week. I have not gotten only 5 hours of sleep for the last several nights. And I am NOT. SO. EFFING. TIRED. TODAY!!!!!
We did not try and move a bunch of stuff into the new apartment on Friday evening, to no avail because the previous tenants had not yet vacated. And when I say previous tenants I do not mean cockroaches. They are not one of the most disgusting things on the planet. I did not shudder when I saw them. I also did not go to the Devil Store immediately to purchase foggers and bug spray (and ginger ale) to get rid of the nasty little BUGgers. And then I did not have to get up in the morning on Saturday and head over to an apt that I had ASSumed (my bad my bad) would be clean enough for me to at least move my shyte into.
I did not decide to leave one of my child's whole big bags of toys in the storage room because she has waaaaaay too many toys in her room right now as it is because we are combining her stuff from two houses.
I did not let my child stay the night with the babysitters so that they could take her trick or treating while I was getting everything together to move (and apparently kill bugs) and she did not tell me that she didn't get that much candy because she was scared of "the costume monsters."
I did not waste 2 or more hours online when I should have been organizing the kitchen. And I did not take pictures of my totally disorganized and box filled apartment and post them on FB proclaiming how much I needed to get off the internet and unpack. And I did not continue to play online and play bejeweled. And I did not
And...I did not "dance like a dervish" in the middle of my spacious bedroom floor last night at midnight just because I had my own room and I had finished unpacking my bathroom. :-)
And last...I have most definitely not had trouble sleeping in my very own bed. In my very own room. All by myself. It has not been 7+ years since I have not shared my room with SOME loved one.
